My experience in ENGL 396K

This semester, I took the ENGL 396 cause, I think this is a very nice cause. In this cause, I learnt how to use DREAMWEAR and how to plan a website. Moreover, I learnt how to do teamwork. Writing blog is very interesting and it also gives me a lot of fun. Photo collection is my favorite project because it helps me to remember my friends and family members. Also, my teacher makes this cause very interesting. This cause is really helpful for my English studying and Academic studying. I think everyone here likes this cause. In the end, I hope this cause will help more international students more.

Probelms for the final project

This week we are supposed to do the final project. Our project is to discuss the trivial. Our project is a little difficult for us because we need more information about the trivial over the world. Due to there are so many beauty spots, it’s really hard for us to choose from them. Also, the vocabulary is a little bit difficult for us. We want to talk about the heart trivial, but the details are all Chinese which is so difficult to translate. Moreover, we also have some argument in it because we hold some different ideas. I think we should discuss more about it and make an agreement. For me, I love trivial and I also have traveled a lot, so I know many beauty spots. Also we have found a lot of useful information and I believe that it will be a successful project for this course.

NYC trip with best friends

This is a photo of my favorite trip to New York. Actually, New York is a city of my dream because this is a fantastic city which is the most modernize and most beautiful city in the world. There are many tall buildings and I think it’s a crowd city because everyone here is very busy. Moreover, I love the Wall street here because my parents have told me that the wall street is the centre of financial which will be my future major. I also love the 5th street because there are many big stores here which include lots of famous brands. In NYC trip, we have been to many famous places such as the empire state building, the stature if liberty and some famous museums. I also love the centre park here because the park is really beautiful and fantastic. The most important thing is that I went there with my best friends in US. We went everywhere together and we had a great fun. This photo was taken in centre park and we wore the same cloth which we called the team shirt. For my experience in NYC, I think everything is very good except the food. I believed that the food is good there, the reason is we went to a wrong place. In the end, we had a great time there. Having a trivial with friends is pretty a good idea for relaxing.

Xiao Jian Ren

Chenglong is my best friend here. I call him as telephone guy because he always makes telephone calls for such a long time. For my personal experience, he used to make a call for over 6 hours per day. I think he is crazy because of his girlfriend. I think making telephone call is his part-time job. Every times he only does his homework after finishing his telephone call. Mostly, he goes to bed in the mid-night. He is a fantastic perfect boyfriend I have ever seen before. He takes good care of her girlfriends. I can remember every time we go out, he always thinks about that what to buy for his girlfriend. In addition, he makes phone call in the morning to mention her girlfriend to sleep on time. I can still remember last semester. He was the most crazy phone boy in class. In my opinion, he is the most crazy boy here. Lol. Now he has 2 names, XIAO JIAN REN and DIAN HUA NAN. I expect he will make more calls to his girlfriend.

world of warcraft

During the time I studied in US, there is a lot spare time for me. Sometimes I go out with my friends and sometimes I just stay at home because going out is actually difficult for me. As a result, I play World of war craft in my spare time. In the game, my character is mage. Mage is my favorite character because it has nice DPS and beautiful powerful magic. In the game, we can see many beautiful scenes and do some interesting thing such as exploring instance and making our own business. Not only I play it but also o lot of my friends plays it. Some people think that playing game is not a good thing because it may waste our time. However, in my opinion, actually, game just likes the real world; we have our group, our guild. Everything in the game is required teamwork which means it can let us practice our lead ability. What’s more, because I’m an international student and the game is in English, I can learn a lot of English in the game. In addition, we go to some heroic instance such as 25 men Naxx through using vent to communicate. I can practice listening and speaking and also learn some vocabularies. As a result, playing games is not always a bad thing, sometimes it can lead us some benefits. However, sometimes, I still feel tired for playing the games online because once we run an instance, it may cost me about several hours. Moreover, it always wastes my time to spend with my friends, so I think I should do something else instead of playing game all day. World of War craft is a nice game for us if we can play it property. I also want to notice my friends who play it game is game, we should pay more time with the real world.

The person who influence my career most

I think the people who influence me most are my parents. Especially my farther, my father’s career is full of frustrations, but according to his thought, even thought there is much more difficult, but through the procession he making up his career he has learnt from many experiences and gain a lot of strength. My father was born in a very poor village, and his childhood was filled of pain and difficult. He studied hard in order to change his life. Finally, he successfully got a nice university in China and found a nice job as a common employee in a bank. Actually, my father gave me deep expression of knowledge since I was a little child. In my memory, he always does well in his job and wins lots of prizes. Due to his perfect behavior at work, He got the senior manager from a common employee in 5 years. Then he took his master degree of Economic and management. My father is very successful not only his business but also on the relationship of friends. In 2001, His friends help him to start the crazy business career. He started to run his own company. He devoted him into his company and finally he got a great in his business which makes him become famous in our city. However, my father never feels self-satisfied and he always kept working hard. Moreover, he still kept studying and got the PHD of economic in the end. I can remember when I was a child he always taught me to study harder and harder. I can still remember my father’s motto: keep studying and keep working. On the other hand, my father also did well in taking care of my family. In other words, to his job he is an excellent businessman while to our family he is an excellent husband, father and son. No matter how busy he is, he always puts our family in the most important place and does his best to take care of us. My father never thought highly of me. When I was a child, my father brought me to his company and taught me how to deal with documents and complex number such as accounting. When he goes out with his friends, he always takes me in order to break my sight which means lee me learn more not only from him but also from his successful friends. I can still remember when I was a middle school student, He invited me to his meeting to make company plan and so on. Consequently, obviously, my father is the person who influence so much. According to my dream, I wander to be a successful businessman as my father does. I think what can I do was not only to admire him but also do as he does. I love my major since I was a child. I believe that I will get a great succeed under my hard working finally and I’m sure I can be better than my father.

My most embarrassing experience in the United States

I believe that everyone has his own embarrassing experience. sometimes an embarrassing can be very interesting and funny, but sometimes it can be very terrible, boring or sad. The most embarrassing experience in my life I think is the first month when I just went to the United States.
Unfortunately, beforce I came here, no one told me some imformation about the life here such as life style, supermarket, and so on which means I don't know where can I get some food and where can I buy something. I ate nothing but a little bit bread in the first week. What's worse, I can't tell my parents about this because I wouldn't let them know how hard I spent in US which would make them feel worried. In additon, I have no friends here which means no one can help me with my problems and i have to do that all by myself. In China, I have never done everything by myself but rely on my parents. What's worse, I have no house to live and i still have no friends to talk with. Even though it's very hard for me to solve all of these questions, but i still believe that through the process of solving the problem, i can learn many living skills and improve my independence ability. There is a old moto said that if you try your best to face the problem, nothing will be impossible. Day by day, i adapt myself into the American style life and find some friends include my best US friends Kyle and Robert. We play together and make a lot of communication which makes me feel more better, at least, I will not feel lonely as i just came here. What's more, through the explore of these days, I find my way in US.
That's all my experience, I think even though sometimes some embarrassing experience may cause us feel bad or sad, but i still believe that after it, we will become more and more powerful and strong. We can learn from it and get benefits form it. I believe that after rainning day, there will be a sunshine in the morning of the nextday. Everything will become better if we face it and take positive part in it
